Michael Phillips hails from AB, Canada

Biography

My passion is photography, and I am always growing and learning new things, new techniques, and new genres.

I believe we never stop learning even though that has become a cliche. Nonetheless it is a truth because everytime I am on a hike or shoot in an area I have been before, I always find something I didn't see or think of before. I want to continue to learn and progress my photography, my most recent work has seen an expansion into shooting local bands/singers.

My work has received several recognitions from having been posted in Facebook and Redbubble.

Exhibitions

Coming up in October to November, a selection of my work will be on display at Cafe Crema in Calgary.

Statement

I work with photography because it allows me to communicate the real world to clients in either a real or manipulated way. My inspiration comes from all around me, and I hope to pass that enthusiasm along to you. My hope is that I will continue to develop new skills and remain open to new concepts/techniques.
