Joni Dalia hails from Michigan, United States
When I first began expressing my creativity, I gravitated towards mediums such as painting and drawing. But one day it occurred to me that I have been limiting myself. I’ve learned a great deal since then and I still think as a painter but there just came a time when I was no longer limited to painting just with paint. I find it more fulfilling bringing my view of things through the style of photography. I started my formal education by working as an assistant in the commercial photography studios but I have since then taken my vision to greater heights in terms of approach and style. I have a knack for capturing picture perfect scenes. My love of painting shows through with each new photograph. It’s as if time stops, if just briefly, and the canvas of nature begs me to take its picture.
In 1998 my work has been featured in the New Art International publication by Book Art Press.

Regardless of how I pull it off, my creative process is simple. For me the wisest choice of equipment is, in fact, no choice at all. It’s far easier to allow the subject to guide me. Having the barest necessities makes it possible for me to be agile in soul and body. Simplicity is a far more effective tool than any gimmicky and expensive accessory... Every animal leaves traces of what it once was. I alone leave traces of what I created... That is why I am confident that my talent will expand internationally.
